 "Lend A Helping Hand Grant"

If you have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are currently under a physician’s care, you are eligible for a one-time grant, which may be used for such services as medical bills, household bills, house cleaning, meal preparation, transportation, or just a day of relaxation at a local spa. Who is eligible?

  • Individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are undergoing chemotherapy  or radiation therapy and can provide confirmation by their physicians.

  • Individuals who live on the North Fork and are currently under treatment.

  • Individuals must sign a consent and release form.

"NFBHC Keri Lynn Stromski Stage IV Breast Cancer Research

and Support Fund"

 

Recognizing the need for the additional support and funding  that metastatic breast cancer 

requires, the NFBHC  is proud to announce the formation of the NFBHC Keri Lynn Stromski Stage IV

Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund.

​

If you have been diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer and live on the

North Fork of Long Island, you may be eligible for financial and supportive assistance.

Donations made to the NFBHC Keri Lynn Stromski Stage IV Breast Cancer Research and

Support Fund,  will support metastatic breast cancer research being done at Stony Brook University,

 

 Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and New York Cancer and Blood Specialists. It will also provide 

direct financial assistance to individual metastatic breast cancer patients/thrivers.

 "North Fork Breast Health Coalition Scholarship 2022"

​

Who is eligible?

  • A high school senior on the North Fork of Long Island, New York, who: had a parent or legal guardian diagnosed with breast cancer; and who is a resident and student in one of the following schools: Riverhead High School, Mattituck High School, Southold High School, Greenport High School, or Shelter Island High School. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist with the costs of his or her education beyond high school.
