North Fork Breast Health Coalition

"Lend A Helping Hand" Grant

If you have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are currently under a physician’s care, you are eligible for a one-time grant of up to $1,000, which may be used for such services as house cleaning, meal preparation, transportation expenses, or just a day of relaxation at a local spa. Please call 631-208-8889 for information.

Who is eligible?

  • Individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are undergoing chemotherapy  or radiation therapy and can provide confirmation by their physicians.

  • Individuals who live on the North Fork and are currently under treatment.

  • Individuals must sign a consent and release form.

Stage IV Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund

If you have been diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer and have already received our "Lend a Helping Hand Grant" and are currently under a physician’s care, you are eligible additional grant of up to $2,500, which may be used for such services as house cleaning, meal preparation, transportation expenses, or just a day of relaxation at a local spa. Who is eligible?

  • Individuals who have already recievd the "Lend a Helping Hand Grant .

  • Individuals who have been diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer and are undergoing chemotherapy  or radiation therapy and can provide confirmation by their physicians.

  • Individuals who live on the North Fork and are currently under treatment.

  • Individuals must sign a consent and release form.
